Mauritius established itself in the Call Centre/Business Process Outsourcing industry some fifteen years ago, supporting clients in North America and Europe, and has developed a strong balance in both voice and Business Process Outsourcing functions. Our success in this area has been significant and with a staff of multilingual operators, we have been able to retain and develop skilled staff with low rates of absenteeism. This, in turn, has enabled us to attain very successful ramping up of new client solutions, managing growth rates of 600% in eight months and increasing from 100 agents to over 700 agents for eight clients.
Our strong Mauritian management team has acquired significant international experience and we have developed a solid network through government agencies, federal ministries, schools and universities and local business operators.
The Indian Ocean island of Mauritius has a stable democratic parliamentary government which is business friendly and which has, over the last 20 years established the country as a premier, boutique location in the business outsourcing market.
Mauritius has a blended population and social makeup, with a well-adjusted community suffering from very little crime or corruption. Much of its major industry is service-based and its socio-economic drivers are largely founded on commercial alliances with Western countries. Wages at service agent level rank within the top 40% of earners in the country.
Located in the Indian Ocean on regular air and shipping lanes, Mauritius International Airport supports multiple carriers with daily flights to Europe, North America, Asia and Australia and Africa. It is regarded as a safe and secure location. And as a premier tropical island holiday destination, it is an excellent place to entertain clients and conduct getaways!
